Today I just confirmed author, John Berendt, as a Keynote Speaker and you are in for real treat as he has an incredible NEW children's book out, MY BABY BLUE JAYS which just received rave reviews in the New York Times and been selected my my literacy charity of choice, The Dolly Parton Imagination Library which sends children a FREE book a month until the child starts Kindergarten to get them reading ready. I started this program here when I was President of the Rotary Club of Jefferson and our Silent Auction at Girlfriend Weekend helps fund this literacy promoting endeavor in Marion County!
